“the biggest problem throughout the history of man is the fact that racism is anything but an anomoly”
“on an altar of prejudice we crucify our own, yet the blood of all children is the color of god” – don williams, jr.
okay, like i went to school in kansas, (rock-chalk-jayhawk) before heading back east to boston and this is just wrong! racist? perhaps, perhaps . . .
however, this – and i don’t give a DAMN what the english people say: IS as racist as anything i encountered in louisiana and mississippi and is just – as – bloody WRONG!
however: hoops and my ‘man’ yo-yo, they’re like cool – and from kansas city – so perhaps i should just “chill” -
in memory of rodney king; April 2, 1965 – June 17, 2012

postscript: it must be my return to america

Rodney King himself is an interesting person to me. He has become an icon, but otherwise just a regular person caught in the cross-hairs of hatred & bigotry. A life well lived, I believe.
If I live to be a 1,000, I will never understand racism.. Thank goodness my parents were human beings who focused on love & compassion for the world than the color of someone’s skin.. thank bloody goodness..
what can i say? you appear to have said it all! as well by thee way did/do your parents! peace
just a ‘normal’ dude finding himself in a pretty pathetic situation and trying to make lemonade out of it – sad really – may he rest in peace
