okay, so everybody has to eat something on christmas, like it or not
so like i have been a bit sluggish (again) lately, must be the bloody ‘weather’ so i figured a ‘day-trip’ down to the town of oxford would do the body good
and like this was noon on a friday – in oxford – man, must it must be christmas, speaking of which . . .
traditional ‘village’ markets in england have typically been the source of ‘high quality’ locally grown/produced christmas dinner fare . . . even in oxford
okay, being honest, i wasn’t that knowledgable on the pheasant front, but apparently – at least in oxford – there will be pheasant on the christmas table mr scrooge, if you like
if you like indeed
or maybe a bit of ham and turkey, nice looking turkey there . . . along with a sizable hunk of beef
but as for me, i love the christmas chocolates and hand decorated cakes . . . so far my waist-line is staying quiet
oh bugs, i told you to stay away from elmer fudd, dude had to get lucky eventually dang man
then again, the thought of wild hare and vegetables on a cold friday night: nice
the ‘covered market’ in oxford is a pretty cool place to do your christmas ‘stuff’ in a relatively sane environment . . . but then there are 22 shopping days left till . . .
buy a tree today, nah, wait a week buy the same tree for less
peace
